Although this enso circle was created with Corel Painter, it required the same concentration and clarity that would be required to create an inkbrushed version. The background was pre-prepared, but the digital dry brush stroke was executed in a single, unedited gesture. Some touches were added later, such as the red highlights and the "unborn" letters.
