The gateway here is similar to those seen in front of Zen temples. When we cross the threshold into the inner world of the atom, do we know what we will find? An atom, depicted in the traditional way, is seen inside the gate and at its heart is a spiral nebula, symbolizing the vast amount of potential energy within the microcosm. Small and large are interchangeable. The numbers are mere symbols, which we need to transcend. This work has been featured in several HD projection shows for musical groups.
