In this recently completed painting, I wanted to capture the fleeting nature of all composite things, and of human life itself. Bob Dylan once sang "Beauty walks a razor's edge, someday I'll make it mine". However, when we try to posess beauty, it seems to slip away, like a plume of smoke.
